Example 1: Check minimum pressures
- Import the network (Files → Load JSON or Import EPANET).
- Analysis → “Run Calc.”
- View → Pressure on nodes. Find red nodes (low pressure).
- Node table → sort by ascending pressure. Note the critical ones.
Example 2: Fix a critical diameter
- After spotting a high-loss pipe, select it.
- Increase diameter in the inspector.
- Recalc with “Run Calc N-R” to compare.
- Check if downstream nodes turn green on the map.
Example 3: Test a pump impact
- Insert a pump on the main line.
- Set an initial gain (or simple curve).
- Run with GGA and review critical pressures.
- Tune gain until reaching the target range without exceeding velocities.
Scenario best practices
- Change one parameter at a time, then recalc.
- Save project versions after major edits.
- Validate with EPANET when changes are big (new pump or major diameter).
