Recent tools

  • Multi-selection table: column filters, asc/desc sorting, summary averages, and CSV export of the current view.
  • EPS Profile: time-series chart for pressure/flow/velocity with min/max/delta in EPS mode.

Pressures

  • Check the node table and sort by ascending pressure.
  • Below-minimum pressure means poor service or intrusion risk.
  • If many nodes are low, review sources (pumps/reservoirs) and trunk diameters.

Flows and velocities

  • In the pipe table, sort by velocity or loss.
  • Very high velocity → high losses and possible surge.
  • Very low velocity → oversizing or dead zones.

Friction losses

  • Use the pipe metric Headloss; find segments with highest loss per meter.
  • Fix by increasing diameter, lowering roughness, or rerouting.

Problem hints

  • Local low pressure: closed pipe, tight valve setpoint, or high elevation.
  • Negative pressure: not enough energy; review pumps or levels.
  • Slow convergence: loosen tolerances or validate with EPANET.

Quick checklist after a run

  • Any nodes below threshold?
  • Any pipe exceeding recommended velocity?
  • Source levels/curves coherent?
  • Units consistent with inputs?
