User guide chapter (English).

03 · General interface

Main parts

  • Top bar: title, session, access to Designer and Labs.
  • Canvas: central view with zoom/pan and selection.
  • Toolbar: select, move, draw pipe, delete, etc.
  • Left side panel: tabs Network, Tools, View, Analysis, Files, Settings, About, plus valve alerts.
  • Right inspector: opens when editing a node/pipe to adjust properties.
  • Floating table (Multi-selection): lists nodes/pipes/pumps with filters and quick totals.
  • EPS Profile: floating panel with time-series charts for nodes and pipes.

Navigation

  • Switch tabs with one click; canvas state is preserved.
  • Use mouse wheel or zoom buttons; drag for pan.
  • Double-click an element to open the inspector; Esc clears selection.

Panel tabs

  • Network: create elements (nodes, pipes, pumps, tanks).
  • Tools: select, move, edit, delete, undo/redo.
  • View: zoom controls, measurements, visible metrics (pressure, velocity), flow direction, labels.
  • Analysis: calculation buttons (GGA, N-R, EPANET) and run summary.
  • Diagnostics: QA checks and model quality findings.
  • Files: open/save JSON, import EPANET .inp, export SWMM .inp.
  • Settings: units, coordinate scale, background, calibration (image or MapTiler).
  • About: version info.
  • Valve alerts: clamp/status and exports for PRV/PSV/FCV.
